Article: Faith and Facts by Greg Koukl

What is a good definition of biblical faith? How does it relate to science? What is the relationship for the follower of Christ between faith and facts?

In this article, Greg Koukl of Stand to Reason considers these questions. You can find it here.

Courage and Godspeed,

Great Article Chad!

Thanks for sharing. The couple of quotes in bold really stuck for me:

"Biblical faith isn't believing against the evidence. Instead, faith is a kind of knowing that results in action."

And-

"Friends, Christianity is not denying reality. Biblical Christians don't deny reality, they discover reality. And once they've discovered it, they act on what they've learned."

The Niagara Falls wheelbarrow crossing is a great analogy to compare intellectual faith versus active faith.

Thanks Bro!

The evidence to our common faith is the answered "Prayers" ...when we pray for something in specific, and God answers the prayer that is the evidence, but it takes faith in God and hope that he will answer our petitions.
